Product Details

Gulf yellowfin tuna. Caught on the offshore spread in open Gulf water — yellowfin is the defining pelagic fish of the Gulf of America. Our captains run offshore when the tuna are biting, and every fish comes from hook and line in federal waters. Processed and vacuum sealed within days of landing. Frozen at -5°F. Frozen Fresh.

Flavor & Texture

Dense, ruby-red flesh with a mild, clean flavor and firm texture. Sear it rare for a restaurant-quality result, slice it thin for poke or crudo, or cook it through for a more traditional preparation. Yellowfin is one of the most culinarily flexible fish in the Gulf — and one of the best.

Health Benefits

Yellowfin tuna is among the most nutritionally complete fish available — approximately 25g protein per 3 oz serving with very low fat content. Exceptional omega-3 fatty acid content, along with high levels of selenium, B12, niacin, and potassium. A benchmark protein source for athletic performance and cardiovascular health.

What You Receive

Wild caught Gulf yellowfin tuna, vacuum sealed in 6 oz individual fillets. Sourced from U.S. Gulf waters. Sold by the 6 oz package. Packages are 5–6 oz and may vary slightly. Fillets come skin off and deboned.

Why Frozen Is Actually Fresher

Frozen Within 2–3 Days

Most grocery store fish is 7–10 days old before it hits the counter. Ours is processed and frozen within 2–3 days of landing.

Locks In Nutrition

Flash freezing preserves the omega-3s, protein, and flavor that degrade in fresh fish over time.

Better Than “Fresh”

In seafood, “fresh” often means never frozen but days old. Frozen right means genuinely fresh.
