Product Details

Lane snapper. A Gulf reef staple — caught on natural hard bottom and reef structure in federally managed Gulf waters. Hook and line. Lane snapper runs smaller than red snapper but is every bit as clean on the plate. Our captains bring it in when the bite is right, and it goes from boat to vacuum seal within days of landing. Frozen at -5°F. Frozen Fresh.

Flavor & Texture

Mild, sweet white flesh with a delicate, fine flake. Clean and light — one of the more delicate snappers in the Gulf. Excellent pan-seared, responds well to citrus and light preparations. A fish that doesn't need much help.

Health Benefits

Lane snapper is a lean, clean protein source — approximately 20g protein per 3 oz serving. Good source of omega-3 fatty acids, potassium, and B vitamins. Low in fat and calories. A nutritionally straightforward fish from clean Gulf reef water.

What You Receive

Wild caught lane snapper, vacuum sealed in 6 oz individual fillets. Sourced from federally managed U.S. Gulf waters. Sold by the 6 oz package. Packages are 5–6 oz and may vary slightly. All fillets come scaled with skin on and deboned.

Why Frozen Is Actually Fresher

Frozen Within 2–3 Days

Most grocery store fish is 7–10 days old before it hits the counter. Ours is processed and frozen within 2–3 days of landing.

Locks In Nutrition

Flash freezing preserves the omega-3s, protein, and flavor that degrade in fresh fish over time.

Better Than “Fresh”

In seafood, “fresh” often means never frozen but days old. Frozen right means genuinely fresh.
