Product Details

American red snapper. The most iconic fish in the Gulf — federally managed under an Individual Fishing Quota (IFQ) system, one of the most rigorously managed reef-fish fisheries in the country. Our captains fish natural reef and hard bottom structure in federally managed Gulf waters. Hook and line, every trip. What lands is processed and vacuum sealed within days of landing, then frozen at -5°F through our engineered cold chain.

Flavor & Texture

Firm, lean white flesh. Mild and slightly sweet — clean enough to let the fish speak, versatile enough for any preparation. Grills, pans, and roasts beautifully. One of the most reliable eating fish in American seafood.

Health Benefits

Red snapper delivers approximately 22g of lean protein per 3 oz serving. Rich in omega-3 fatty acids, potassium, vitamin B12, and selenium. Low in saturated fat and calories — a nutritionally complete protein source.

What You Receive

Wild caught American red snapper, vacuum sealed in 6 oz individual fillets. Sourced from federally managed U.S. Gulf waters. Sold by the 6 oz package. Packages are 5–6 oz and may vary slightly. All fillets come scaled with skin on and deboned.

Why Frozen Is Actually Fresher

Frozen Within 2–3 Days

Most grocery store fish is 7–10 days old before it hits the counter. Ours is processed and frozen within 2–3 days of landing.

Locks In Nutrition

Flash freezing preserves the omega-3s, protein, and flavor that degrade in fresh fish over time.

Better Than “Fresh”

In seafood, “fresh” often means never frozen but days old. Frozen right means genuinely fresh.
