Whole mangrove snapper. Also known as gray snapper — one of the Gulf's most abundant reef species, sold whole from hook and line. Caught throughout Gulf waters from nearshore to offshore reef structure. Gutted and scaled at the fish house, vacuum sealed within days of landing. Frozen at -5°F. Frozen Fresh.
Flavor & Texture
Firm white flesh with a clean, mild flavor. More texture than yellowtail, reliable under any cooking method. Excellent roasted whole, particularly good with bold seasoning — this fish holds up to it. A Gulf staple that's been on the table whole for generations.
